Wear Jeans, Change Lives

Glasdon takes part in Jeans for Genes Day 2021.

The Jeans for Genes campaign is an awareness movement that highlights the challenges faced by those living with genetic disorders. The weeklong campaign, running from 13–19th September, raises money to fund projects and make tangible differences to the lives of those affected.*

On Thursday, 16th September, Glasdon staff supported the scheme, donning their best denim and donating to the cause.

Bring Together, Shine a Light, Celebrate.

With around 6,000 known life-altering genetic disorders, the money raised during Jeans for Genes Day funds various programmes, from specialist nursing care to a multi-sensory wonderland, to help those in need.

Wearing our jeans and denim jackets, Glasdon staff, along with the Glasdon Charitable Giving Committee, managed to raise a total of £300 for the charity.

Thank you to all those who took part.
