Fundraising

Glasdon Group Limited

The DJ Sidebottom / Glasdon Charitable Programme, developed from the Glasdon Charitable Giving Committee in 2021, is funded solely by the activities of Glasdon Group Limited.

The Glasdon Group gives a significant portion of its profits to the charitable programme, enabling us to use this money in support of worthwhile endeavours in the form of grants and charitable giving. The profits donated have been generated across all aspects of the Glasdon company including Glasdon UK Limited, Glasdon Europe SARL, Glasdon, Inc and Glasdon International Limited.

The DJ Sidebottom / Glasdon Charitable Programme may also donate Glasdon products including litter collection tools, waste management products and safety solutions. These products are gifted to charities, community groups, environmental organisations and individuals, who can use this equipment to support their charitable initiatives.

All contributions donated by Glasdon Group Limited are done so with full support from the Chairman, Donald J Sidebottom, MBE, FCIHT, as well as the board of company directors.

Glasdon employees are active volunteers and fundraisers. Staff are always encouraged to take part in community endeavours, fundraising initiatives, and challenges for charity. As a company, Glasdon participates in various work-based fundraising events throughout the year, where employees from all across the Glasdon Group get involved to raise money for good causes.

Examples of some of the fundraising events that Glasdon employees participate in include Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, Jeans for Genes, Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day and BBC Children in Need.

Any money raised by Glasdon employees from staff donations is matched by the DJ Sidebottom / Glasdon Charitable Programme, which is funded by Glasdon Group Limited.
