Helping Hearts Fylde provides practical support, essential items, and compassionate assistance to vulnerable individuals and families across the Fylde Coast.
Helping Hearts Fylde is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to alleviating poverty and supporting people facing homelessness, financial hardship, and crisis situations. Working across the Fylde Coast, the organisation aims to ensure that everyone can access help when they need it, without stigma or judgement.
Through a range of community services, Helping Hearts Fylde provides food, clothing, toiletries, baby essentials, and pet food to those struggling to make ends meet. The charity also offers practical support, advice, advocacy, counselling, and signposting to specialist organisations, helping individuals and families navigate difficult circumstances and access longer-term assistance.
As the increasing cost of living continues to place pressure on households, demand for the charity's services has grown significantly. Their weekly community support sessions provide a vital source of relief for people experiencing homelessness alongside those facing severe financial challenges. In addition to meeting immediate needs, these services help promote dignity, wellbeing, and inclusion, whilst fostering a supportive and welcoming community environment.
The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme is delighted to be able to provide a sum of £3,000 to Helping Hearts Fylde. This donation will help cover the cost of provisions required for their weekly community support service, enabling the charity to continue supporting people suffering from homelessness and financial hardship across the Fylde Coast.
