Starting the Year off with Another Generous Donation

Generous staff once again decided to make a donation to charity rather than send Christmas Cards this year.

The chosen charity which was drawn from a list of charities suggested by staff, was CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young.

CRY are a registered charity that work towards preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.

Supporting young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions, it also offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD.

CRY also funds medical research as well as promoting and developing heart screening programmes.

Free ECG and Echocardiogram screenings are available to all young people between the ages of 14 & 35. For more information, click here: https://www.c-r-y.org.uk/screening/.

There was a tremendous response with all offices participating and a sum of £163.87 raised from all Glasdon Employees.

The Group Charitable Giving Committee kindly added to this amount, making the total received a well deserving £350.00.
