Over 210k Invested in our Community

As the year draws to a close, The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme is taking a moment to look back at the lives we touched and the progress we made.

It’s been another amazing year of giving back, and we feel proud and privileged to have invested so much in our local community.

We had the pleasure of continuing our long-standing support of Sam’s Place, Faith in the Community, Care & Share, Fylde Foodbank, Comfort Café, North West Air Ambulance, Brian House, and North West Blood Bikes, to name but a few. We renewed our silver membership with Blackpool Carers Centre, ensuring Glasdon remains, as ever, a ‘Caring Corporate’. We were delighted to welcome several new faces, including Growing Well and @theGrange. Of course, one of this year’s highlights was crowning Fresh Food 4 Working Families our Employee Charity of the Year for 2025.

Our passion for local sport and youth potential remained strong. We were proud to continue our sponsorship of The England Amputee Football Association’s Junior Programme and Fylde Rugby Club Community Foundation’s Blackpool Primary School Tag Rugby Programme. We also cheered on Paralympian Josh Landmann for another season, seeing him score his first World Series podium in Italy, take home his first championship medal at the European Championships in France, and come in 1st at the World Triathlon Para Cup in Magog.

Throughout the year, we helped 193 organisations, providing a total of £218,007 in vital funding. To us, these are not just numbers; they represent our ongoing promise to support the people and projects that make our community a kinder, better place.

The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme provides support for charities and community projects with donations, grants and fundraising initiatives. All activities are funded by Glasdon Group Limited, with the full support of our Founder and Chairman, Donald J Sidebottom MBE, FCIHT and the Board of Directors. Applications for grants and support can be made on our grant application page.
