Festive Fun for Save the Children 2021

This Christmas Jumper Day Glasdon Staff were excited to put on their best festive sweaters and bring their Christmas spirit and kind donations.

Staff wore bright and cheery Christmas jumpers as well as jazzy accessories as a festive way to raise awareness and funds for Save the Children, an important children's charity.

Save the Children helps to fight for children's rights and improve their education, health care, economic opportunities as well as providing emergency aid. Just last year alone, 45 million children across the world had their lives changed for the better with the help from generous donations to this charity.

Working alongside more than 100 countries including the UK, their shared ambition is that by 2030, 'no child dies from preventable causes before their fifth birthday, all children learn from a quality basic education, and violence against children is no longer tolerated.'*

Like many other years, Christmas Jumper Day was a huge success with lots of participants enjoying the cheerful sweaters while helping to raise money for this very worthy cause.

Along with the DJ Sidebottom / Glasdon Charitable Programme, Glasdon managed to raise a total of £400 for the charity.

Thank you to all the staff who got into the festive spirit!
