Beginning a New Year of Charitable Giving

Instead of sending Christmas cards, staff across Glasdon sites once again made a donation to charity choosing a local children’s hospice to receive the generous donation.

From a list of charities suggested by staff members, Brian House Children’s Hospice was chosen from the draw as the well deserving recipient.

Brian House, which is a part of Trinity Hospice, is a fully equipped children’s hospice specialising in palliative care for children on the Fylde Coast.

It is one of only a small number of children’s hospices in the UK, which are focused on meeting the complex needs of many children and teenagers while providing respite and support for over 80 families.

Brian House only receive a fraction of their annual running costs from the Government, they rely on donations to keep their hospice running.

We are so pleased to be supporting such a wonderful children’s charity as we know every donation helps keep their doors open so more families and children can be provided the best care during such a difficult time.

With a tremendous response, all offices participated raising a fantastic amount from all Glasdon Employees.

The Glasdon Charitable Giving Committee kindly added to this amount, with Brian House receiving a cheque for £425.
