Glasdon Dressed as a Denim Dream This Jeans for Genes 2019!

Wear Jeans, Change Lives.

On Thursday 19th September Glasdon staff donned their best denim in support of Jeans for Genes Day!

Jeans for Genes Day is a campaign that helps improve the lives of children and families affected by genetic disorders. 1 in 25 people born in the UK are affected by genetic disorders, with 30,000 babies and children newly diagnosed each year*.

The money raised from Jeans for Genes Day funds the care and support of children with genetic disorders on a day-to-day basis, as well as helping provide practical support, essential equipment, respite and events that bring families affected together.

Dressed in jeans, denim shirts and denim jackets, Glasdon staff raised £172.03 with the Glasdon Charitable Giving Committee matching monies raised to make a total of £350.

Thank you to everyone who put on their denim for the day and donated to this amazing cause!
