Glasdon Joins the Big Climate Fightback #EveryTreeCounts

Woodland Trust is the largest woodland conservation charity in the UK that works to create, protect and restore native woodland heritage.

Registered in England, Wales and Scotland, the Woodland Trust’s aim is to see a UK rich in wood and trees, planting over 43 million trees since 1972.*

Creating new woodland is at the heart of what they do, and to coincide with National Tree Week running from 23rd Nov – 1st Dec, the Woodland Trust have launched a new campaign to encourage action on this: The Big Climate Fightback.

The Big Climate Fightback, which coincides with the traditional tree planting season, is a campaign calling on one million people to join the fight against climate change by pledging to plant a tree by Saturday 30th November.

The campaign encourages people to get involved in many different ways, from attending a tree planting event or planting a tree in your own garden, to making a donation to the trust.

To help support the campaign and the amazing work that the charity do protecting woods and wildlife, Glasdon made a donation to the Woodland Trust.

Donating will help protect native woods and trees, restore ancient woodland, create places rich in trees by planting many, as well as generating next year’s funds.

We were happy to do our part in helping protect the woodland as #EveryTreeCounts.
