It’s utter scenes, as Glasdon are awash with jeans!

Jeans for Genes Day is an annual fundraising campaign that has a simple mission; to change lives.

On the 21st of September, Glasdon staff were proud to whip out their jeans, and support a cause which improves the lives of children affected by genetic disorders.

In total, there’s thought to be around 6,000 genetic disorders currently in existence, affecting the day-to-day lives of thousands of people, all over the world. Here in the UK, it’s estimated that one in 25 children are affected by a genetic disorder, whilst a further 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed each year*.

Therefore, it has never been more important to raise funds and awareness. Money raised for Jeans for Genes Day helps fund projects which provide nursing care, equipment, activity weekends, online support and counselling, to those affected.

We are very proud to announce that Glasdon staff, alongside the Glasdon charitable giving fund, raised £250!

A massive thank you to everyone who wore jeans and helped change the lives of thousands of people living with genetic disorders, all over the world.

We can’t wait to do it all again on September 20th, 2019!
