Christmas Jumpers and Festive Fun

There’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than raising awareness, donating money and, of course, wearing joyous jolly jumpers for a good cause.

Like previous years, staff wore their most outlandish and dazzling Christmas themed jumpers, all in aid of supporting the children’s charity, Save the Children.

Save the Children works in the UK and around the world to make sure children keep safe, healthy and learning. They believe in a world where every child has a chance at a future they deserve. With over 600,000 supporters, they help 45 million children get the medicine, food and education they need.

In 2021 we achieved enormous success, with lots of participants, we raised a total of £400. But, in 2022, it was twice as good. For every £2 donation, the UK Government had promised to also give £2.

Along with The DJ Sidebottom / Glasdon Charitable Programme, we managed to raise a total of £500 which, with the Government’s promise to match that amount, meant a whopping £1,000 in total!

A huge thank you to all the staff that joined in with the festive spirit!
